About Me

A single mother to four beautiful children, writing has been my passion since I was 6 years old. Through the years I have added to my love of writing and journalism through industries such as pageantry, theater, broadcast journalism, parenting, travel, health and fitness and most currently, yoga and meditation. 

My experience over the last twenty years has allowed me to carry titles such as Miss Tennessee Teen USA, CEO, publisher, mommy as well as yoga guru. My passion and love for life these days is a result of many mountains and valleys and a strong will to survive and thrive positively amidst my successes as well as my failures. Writing propels my soul into a realm of endless possibilities that I absolutely love sharing with the world.

For the last six months, I have been given the opportunity to improve my writing skills through continuing education while also freelancing for a national company as well as a Los Angeles digital newspaper. I write for many different topics and specialize in the health and fitness and high finance categories. My writing platforms include blogs, webpages, short stories, marketing material, ebooks, etc.

Learning how to correctly outline, format, upload, link, share and edit provides me with enormous capabilities in my writing career. The ability to work remotely has also modernized my time management, work quality and efficiency. I have constructed my career around my personal life and am succeeding!

My personal social media platforms have also flourished in the last several months as well. My Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter and Pinterest are all connected through my health and fitness content, family life and encouraging material.

Thank you so much for taking the time to make it to the end of my excerpt. These new times ahead of all of us are most definitely upending as well as exciting. I tend to sway toward the positive and am looking forward to the world’s new normal.. 

Writing has changed drastically with technology and will continue to change and grow now in the remote space. I’m ready to write and write and write some more. Let’s do this. It’s going to be awesome!
